Oh, so that might be why you were feeling hot... Interesting. I have heard this before with the spices. When I eat my soups I like to spice them up pretty much, it makes them alot better to eat. To bad they stopped selling the tomato soup here in Sweden, they say it didn't sell... Take care Marvy, and yes, let's burn some fat cells away FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!! --Previous Message-- : I read an article in Prevention magazine that : said " Spicing up your meals may do : more that just add great flavor, : "Hot" foods such as jalapenos, : chilie peppers and spices (like curry and : cayenne), may actually increase body : temperature. Body temperature and Metabolism : are directly related: As you burn energy : heat is released. As the theory goes, by : increasing your internal body temperature, : spicy foods may temporarily raise your : metabolism and stimulate the use of stored : fat as energy. (prevention 5/13/2008) : Remember I had asked if anyone else had : times of their body heat being high yet no : temperature. Well now we know. : So increase your internal body temperature, : put a little hot sauce in that tomato soup : and set your metabolism on FIRE. Most Hot : sauces will not add calories. I like a : little Cayenne Pepper sauce in my tomato : soup. Gives it a little kick and enhances : the flavor. : So turn up the heat, and Burn those Fat : cells away. : Marvy :
