I've been so busy with this time of year I haven't been on line in awhile and have just learned of this shocking situation. Living in the country can be great but unfortunately there are so many that are ignorant and proud of it. Do they think your dogs would be running at large? Again, if they were familiar with the breed they would be aware of its most admirable characteristic, guarding home and family, not roaming about looking for other dogs or game, as many of the country hounds will do, in spite of the by-law prohibiting dogs running at large. And wait until you get coyote hunters with their hounds crashing through your property, upsetting your dogs and other pets. Glad to hear its over and in your favour. How stressful for you and your family.
