We are the club that took an active role in seeking full recognition for the Neapolitan Mastiff in Canada. The Neapolitan Mastiff will be eligable to enter the CKC show ring March 2006.

If your puppy has generalize demo, the pup should be dipped in Mitaban and place on antibiotics. Dipping every 10 days if preferred. The only problem with Amitraz (Mitaban), it's a very toxic poison. The more expensive way to accomplish the same thing is to use Interceptor, and it is not poisonous. Hopefully this is puppy demo, if the puppy continues to have demo after 12 months of age then he/she will have it for life. The immune system maybe compromised thereby causing an over population of mites. If it is adult demo discuss with your breeder for them to replace the puppy from different parents.
