Many dog's breed have got a database! Why not the mastino napoletano?
Sophie Mage and I had decided two months ago to start a registration of mastini from the official birth of the breed in Italy. Of course, it could appear as a too big work, but it's very interesting. So, now we have 1900 dogs in the database (French, Italian, Dutch, Hungarian, American and other countries mastini).
This database works as many ones. You can search the dog by his total name, by his kennel's name, by his registration number, by his titles of championship or by his date of birth. After finding your dog, appears his pedigree for 2 to 9 generations. You can know also his offspring.
We include pictures for each when we have one.
To include dogs in it, we have based on official pedigrees (or scans on websites), show dogs catalogues, information coming from official papers. All the mastinari know that it’s not always clear, but we needed to decide which information to keep, so we had selected official’s one.
So if you are interested by this database, we are waiting of your collaboration by the way of pedigrees, of pictures or details about date of birth, title, in fact everything. The object is to have the maximum of info about mastini around the world!!! We also are waiting for rectify any fault or error, with your help!
