Vicky’s Charity Needs (As provided by Jerry Aschenbrenner) Kindergarten (ages 3 – 6 years) Colored paper Coloring books Crayons (six colors to a box) Plasticine Glue Stencils (for drawing letters of the alphabet and other shapes) Scissors (plastic for safety) Primaria (ages 6 – 12 years) Notebooks (ruled) Ballpoint pens Pencils (colored) Scissors Erasers Pencil sharpeners Rulers Compass Calculators (inexpensive) Chalk (white & colored) Secondaria (ages 13 – 16 years) Marker pens Scissors 16” rulers Compass Three ring binders Three hole (ruled) binder paper Calculators Basketballs Soccer balls Volleyballs Other Needs Clothing and footwear for all age groups (infant to adult) Work gloves Toothbrushes & toothpaste Ibuprophen Aspirin 80 mg. First Aid supplies – band-aids, adhesive tape, conforming bandages, absorbent sterile pads, sterile gauze pads, pediatric vitamins. Canes, crutches, walkers and wheelchairs. Cash (Vicky purchases items such as flour, sugar, laundry soap, etc. in bulk at the equivalent to wholesale pricing.) Care packages are prepared and regularly given to the needy. Vicky also makes up layettes for needy first time mothers! They are composed of baby bath, small towel, baby oil and cream, talcum powder, baby soap & shampoo, baby bottles small & large, nipples, bottle brush, sleepers, mittens, towel, face cloth, two baby receiving blankets, bib, diapers, kotex. Volunteers who wish to ride with Vicky (or take their vehicle) to deliver items to the needy and/or the schools can contact Vicky at robertohowell@hotmail.com to arrange a date and time.
