FYI: In 2009 it will be the 11th Annual "EL Famoso" Horseshoe Tournament. To our knowledge, this is the longest running event in the community. Correct us if we are mistaken :) We do agree that after attending so many events in a weeks time, that a vacation is needed. However, there are folks that plan vacations around the Horseshoe Tournament and Margarita Challenge happening in the same week. We did announce at the 10th annual "EL Famoso" our date for 2009 "EL Famoso" Tourney. That doesn't mean we own or have rights to this week, but have committed to 2009. We feel as we are sure most folks do, is that all the events are important and contribute to great causes. We would hate to see one event distract from another or the worst case scenario would be for "Charity Burn Out" and folks just quick participating. If this becomes an issue or is already and issue then maybe a committee should be formed from each of these groups to meet and plan out coordinate these events dates. However, for us short vacation birds, it is great to be able to attend mutliple events while in port. Back to Back to Back....we don't mind..
