Hola Gayle... Can one presume that you have considered and rejected the idea of flying from Puerto Vallarta to Guadalajara? The first class bus ride between the cities is fun and hassle free, but since you are starting at an airport and meeting your daughter at another, you would save some hassle and possible delays. You would also be able to tell your daughter exactly when you would arrive in Guadalajara. It is a very big city. You could both then take a first class bus to La Peņita. Incredibly, La Peņita is a scheduled stop, even on the express lines. I hope you have a great time! Tom
