There is a wonderful Inn called Quinta Don Jose in Tlaquepaque, http://www.quintadonjose.com/, that will pick you up at the bus depot or airport and return you there after your stay. It is run by English Speaking American/Mexicans originally from California. The Inn is very nice, great breakfast included with your room and right in the thick of the shopping area. The bus depot is very close. You might be able to meet your daughter right at the Inn and avoid going to the airport.
