A good chance to meet good people is the JBAR spay and neuter clinic that starts Nov 11. If you wish to volunteer for non-specific duties, just show up early on any morning. I will have fresh coffee for you. One of the most fun jobs is post-op dog walkers, about mid-afternoon; bring some plastic grocery bags. Kennel hoser-outters are also needed at that time. The wide array of Jaltemba Bay fundraisers present volunteer opportunities for all new arrivals to meet and work with some of our best folk.
