This hotel looks like it might be just a slight cut above the Dulce Maria, although they appear to be very similar. The advertising photography is excellent.
I was traveling sin Bruce when I stayed at Tequila. I look forward to going there with him one of these days.
I had some preconceived notions about what Tequila would be like. I was not encouraged by the part cut through by the highway. But once inside the plaza area I was hugely surprised at what a nice town this is. This is a very proud town; clean and full of thoughtfully restored architecture.
I think many people will be surprised at the hotel pricing. Tequila has an influx of Guadalajara tourists by day, but by late afternoon, they are mostly gone. The evenings are quiet and romantic.
