There is an excellent auto mechanic in La Penita. If you look on the lateral 2 blocks south of the Bancomer, you will see a shop called Padilla which sells all types of Auto products, and on the side street right beside you will find an electrical mechanic shop, which is shared by two fellows, one does the electrical and the other (Roberto) does the mechanical work. He is very friendly, inexpensive, and speaks very good English. Good luck, another Roberto.
