Friday and Saturday you'll get that "up north" favorite, barbecued chicken wings, otherwise known as buffalo wings, at Victor and Carmen's carniceria in Guayabitos. In addition, you can get ground beef and small pork chops both on sale for 65 pesos a kilo, regularly 70 p per kilo. The bbq chicken wings are packaged, and you can take them home cold or hot. If you want them heated, Victor will put them in the microwave for you. They've also got delicious home-made pork and beans, for 12 pesos a container. And you can by hamburger patties by the package of 2, 3, 4 or more, as well as chicken nuggets. Lots of new items, too, including tuna, mustard, olives, mayo and mole. Remember Friday and Saturday for the bbq'd buffalo wings, and the sale on ground beef and pork chops. And don't forget that they've moved down the street, next to Alfredo's Discount Pharmace, across the street from Three Flags coffee shop.
