The Backstreet Restaurant got a lot of bad press last year, possibly adjusting to its new venue. My daughter and a friend from the States had dinner on the opening night and they both proclaimed the food to be the "best Italian food" they had ever eaten. It WAS exquisite. Of note was than Daniel did the cooking! To me it is even now better than it was when it was located on the Plaza in La Penita.
