Well we arrived last wednesday and have had a busy almost week getting settled in . The house has a new coat of paint and today we had the new screens put in place to keep the mosquitos out latter this season.Well as one thing leads to anouther it seems the vented lower windows needed replacing as well , that done we have just about everything in place . Now some of the cafes here are still closed and a couple have close3d for good . My good old friend Esteban at the Pina Colada is still open to the world and has a fresh new look opening the front up for more open seating some great new DVD;s to view withgreat tunes not to mention the wonderfully prepared fresh foods prepared by his dear wife Mina . Her culinary skills I would put up agiants the very best anywhere. Now You have all heard the old addage about the only time a mexican is in a hurry is when you put them behind a steering wheel. Well I have a good one for all us Americanadians We drive slow but insist our food be brought to us in seconds like a fast food shop. Just a little punn assome folks belly ache about the wait at His place when there very busy. Good food takes time . In anycase WE did cross at Lukeville into Mexico and had a bit of fun on that crossing as the import temp papers for our jeep and our visas took about a half hr about the same as Nogales but not because of any lineups only because well we were the only ones in line and Im sure they were just keeping us there to asure themselves of some company A good trip down stopping at Guyamas and agian in Maze not being in a hurry. great trip and not nearly as hot as last year. todeleeedooo jiminalta
