thanks again allyson. my dad's family lived in zacatecas, near the jalisco border in a town called mezquital del oro. but from what i understand, they got the seeds for this chile in nayarit, where some of their relatives were. i believe these relatives were in compostela, or somewhere near there. thanks for being so willing to help. i appreciate it.
