Val... I totally understand the connected feeling the this board can give you. Years ago, I very much depended on the same contact to keep me going for the last few years of my career. Reality is sometimes over-rated. People have asked me about the transition from my life with a super stressful job in Alaska to living in Mexico, doing pretty much as I please (in theory). The fact is, I had fantasized so much about living here full time, I am only occasionally startled to realize that I am really here. Or at least, it seems like I am, which is just as good. So I am glad that the Good Jaltemba Bay Folk are able to help you get through the winter without your real visit. Tom
