Last Friday the bbq’d chicken wings sold out in one day at Victor and Carmen’s Carniceria in Guayabitos, so this week he’s making more. Good thing, because we thought they were delicious.
Victor's telling me he should have lamb in about two weeks. Won't that be great!
They’ve got bacon (tocino) on sale, as well as ground beef, each at 65 pesos per kilo, on Friday and Saturday.
They also have new signs in the butcher shop, indicating in English for people like me who don’t know Spanish well enough, the various specials and specialties.
Some of those specialties are barbecued pork ribs, and containers of 2, 3, 4 or more prepared hamburger patties, packages of pork & beans, and chicken nuggets.
If you’ve recently arrived for the seaon, Victor and Carmen’s carniceria has moved from its old location to a new spot further south down Avenida Sol Nuevo next to Alfredo Discount Pharnacy, and across the street from George’s Three Flags Coffee Shop. Look for the vertical red and white sign "Carniceria."
