The San Blas-Las Varas shortcut not only saves you the traffic thru Tepic but it also eliminates the many nasty curves and usually heavy traffic on Highway 200 between Tepic and Las Varas. We live in Tepic and often choose to travel to your area and Puerta Vallarta via the road between Miramar and Las Varas.
