My wife and I own property and are building a home, we will retire full time in five yrs. We love the area, the nationals, the food, and most of all the simplicity. We to are in economic reasoning. We couldn't do retirement in a warm climate in the states for the expense. We try to embrace the culture not fear it. We wish you the best. Ask lots of questions but be prepared for the adventure.
