Posted by Erik For the Runaways, they just want to be left alone. Like any normal teenager, they don't trust authority or adults with good reason. Their parents were evil. They have already taken on villians and heroes like the Avengers and the X-Men, none of which have been good experiences. At every point, the adults in their lives have let them down. They can only rely on each other. For the YA, they seek acceptance and mentorship from the adults in their lives. They idolize the heroes, whereas the Runaways are cynical toward them. I think Cap will send the YA to help the Runaways escape or runaway from the hero hunters. The YA have proven themselves to him. He knows the Runaways won't trust any adults sent to help them so he figures the YA will be accepted because they are the same ages. In the end, the two groups will butt heads and maybe even fight, only to work together in the end to survive. --Previous Message-- Link: Join the YA Assembly!
