Let me get the criticism out of the way first...Noh-Varr? Blah. Why throw another cosmic character into the mix? Hulkling, Xavin, and now another Kree? I don't buy it. Right now it just doesn't seem to fit. I am curious where the writer will take this though. Other than the crappy villian, I am really enjoying the portrayal of my fav marvel characters. The writing definitely blends Heinberg and Vaughan nicely. At first, I really didn't like the art. But the more I look at issue #2, I am beginning to enjoy it. Still not Cheung, but I think it will get better the more he gets used to drawing them all. Spoilers ahead.... I also loved the very end when Xavin is introduced to Noh-Varr....Krak!
