Posted by James Hunter on May 24, 2007, 5:06 am, in reply to "Re: Are you kidding me?!?!?! (SPOILERS)" To answer your question 9I know it was rhetorical, but I'm going to answer it anyway), yes an X-Man (or at least a mutant trainee X-Man) has died in the Danger Room, the character Wing died in the Danger Room in an early issue of Astonishing X-MenI wasn't saying Fury was corrupt though, I was saying that the S.H.I.E.L.D which he ran was corrupt, and after he went on an illegal (and highly risky ission) and was kicked out, the coruption ran rife, Tony is a logical choice to try to stamp out the corruption (it also helps that he knows most heroes identities anyway). If you look at his actions over the last 60+ years, I would arguge that it's naive to say that Xavier had an unwavering moral fibre when you look at how much he has lied to his students, and the moral compromises he has made over the last 60 years. To answer your questions though, it hasn't yet publically been revealed how MVP died (nior is it likely to be) and Armoury's weapon is still confiscated. Cheers. James. --Previous Message--

Technically your initial point isn't true, the whole point of Danger Room settings has to go through the training, even if they don't want to be a hero. Dr. Cecilia Reyes didn't want to be an active X-woman (read: hero) but she still had to go through Danger Room exercises, which is no diferent to what happens in the Initiative. Like Cloud 9 Cecilia also had to be an active heroine, dispite not wanting that in life.
: I ment no mutant had to go through the being a
: hero rules like the others because no one
: can make the x-men do crap thats well known.
: Also Xavier cant see into the
: future.Sometimes there are missions that
: require more then 5 mutants. Also I dont
: remeber any of the x-men dieing on their
: first danger room session. Did any pro reg
: kids? (yes i know thats a cheap shot and low
: blow) I'm better then that.............no im
: not
:
: Also Fury was NEVER corrupt, he was never a
: tool or puppet he always did what was best.
: He never had useless civilians in a SHIELD
: base like stark did at the end of civil war.
: I also have one more law for the marvel U to
: add in if your anti mutant you cant work for
: the gov and you especially cant be a
: sentinal piolet. In fact lets just outlaw
: the sentinals all together.
:
: What can I say I favor the mutants over the
: pro and anti reg sides both of which have
: done terrible things on some level or
: another. Im also mad they brought a great
: character like slapstick down to the level
: of a useless panel filler its a
: travasty!!!!.
:
: Also Ironman isnt the best person to stamp
: out corruption you need someone with a
: totally unwavering moral fiber like Xavier
: and Fury. Stark was easily manipulated by an
: angry mommy out for new warrior blood. Maria
: Hill was about as corrupt as you can get so
: yes i do belive stark is Much better then
: she is. However there are still many who are
: less corupt then stark, to bad the most
: uncoruptable hero in marvel is dead.
:
: Oh and this is a somewhat unrated question
: did they publlicly release how MVP died?
: Also what happened to Armory's weaponry?
