Love or hate the book and its premise, there's something you have to admit on reading this book: Dan Slott knows how to write a crossover tie-in. I challenge anyone to come up with another event tie in where the imposition onto the book is used almost exclusively to the benefit to the ongoing plots. I think the only character NOT moved forward is Kimodo and I question whether or not there is that much to further with her. Okay, I guess the salvaging of Hank Pym and the MVP mystery are skipped too but I blame that more on the debut of the Shadow Initiative rather than World War Hulk. All in all, another great installment in a series that maybe shouldn't have happened (I still don't really like that 616 is becoming the Ultimate Universe in theory) but is very well done nonetheles.
