Well, YA wasn't as bad as McKeever's Teen Titans but I don't know that I'd call it good. At least Firestar is shown to be older than the others but I didn't like her cutting her super gal pals out of her life. I think it would have gone better if she'd been left with a life outside of this series as well. I also still don't like Arana. Take away the powers and look and she's not much is she? I'll read a few more issues but I don't see this staying on my list long or as a long running ongoing either...

Avengers Academy was better but I can't really call it good. Gage does his best work with villains so some revelations made sense but this group is just awful. Of all the Initiative characters, only Reptil made the cut? I see this going the way of Young X-Men and quickly...
