"The way things stand now, the CFC is the "gatekeeper" of FIDE ratings in Canada, so a FIDE-rated event in Canada must be CFC-rated first. Of course, FIDE may change that if it profits them."
If FIDE changed that, I can't think of a single CFC service in which I'd be interested.
