Old story: some royal guy in France dismissed New France (... Quebec, Canada) as "quelques arpents de neige", decided it was expendable, didn't devote the resources necessary to keep it, and here we are. Et voilą.
In July we look green rather than snowy.
Apologies in advance for trivializing the History of Canada. And for explaining the joke.
