Olympic Team Fundraiser Active - Saturday, August 16, 2008 - VICTORIA Chess Club Olympic Team Fundraiser Active Aug. 16, 2008 A 5 round Active Tournament with all entry fees going to support the Canadian Olympic Chess Team. Details When: Saturday, Aug. 16 Location: At the Victoria Chess Club, 1724 Douglas St. in downtown Victoria Time Control: Game/25 minutes +5 second increment Round Times: 10:00, 11:15, 13:30, 14:45, 16:00 Entry Fee: Early Bird $10, $15 at the door. (Donations welcome!) Prizes: Trophies 1st, 2nd, and Top U1600. Misc: Rated by the Victoria Chess Club. No memberships required. Pot luck pairings if not registered and paid by 9:30.
