I'm sure I don't know what you're babbling about. It must be the number of people who are killed with one bomb as opposed to the number that are killed by many bombs.
You know something, sonny? My uncle flew his missions on the bombers during WWII. If you don't think they killed civilians in Germany you're in denial. If you don't think the Nazis killed civilians in the nations they bombed, like England, or the Japanese killed American civilians you don't understand or maybe don't believe history.
The Americans ended the war the way they considered the most efficient. Only an American president who was an idiot would have "carried" the enemy a couple of more years and suffered hugh casualties while doing it. Had Japan gotten nuclear weapons while the Americans were fooling around with conventional warfare then the U.S.A. would have been on the receiving end.
Japan could have surrendered before the first bomb was dropped. They could have surrendered after the first bomb was dropped. They chose to surrender after the second bomb was dropped. They chose wrong.
