Once this board shuts down, where will all these naughty bits go?
Will they fall into the mythical "bit bucket"?
Will they drift into interstellar space, perhaps to be gathered by an alien race's satellite dish and analyzed by a MicroMac computer? Will the aliens come here to serve justice to Sam Haziprodromu, to reimburse him the $15 parking fees he was so unjustly forced to pay because the new boards' bits are so imcompatible with this board's bits?
Ok, I'm a little bit whizzled. Depressed, actually, that this amazing board is shutting down. I for one have really enjoyed it.
Larry, if you must shut it down you must, but if there's any way you can keep it going, and keep these naughty bits alive, please do so.
Jeez, where is Sam Haziprodromu with a monetary donation when you need him?
