Shaking his head as if to dismiss some cobwebs fogging over his mind, Thorns said, "Still, I have some dangerous work to do this night, my lady, and unfortunately we cannot stay here as we are." Starbolt snuggled close to Thorns, her lips nearly touching his ear. She gave his ear a lick with her tongue, then purred softly in his ear, alternating purrs with tiny, kitten-like licks to his ear.
