I disagree with part of that. Cloggers... no. I do however think that CTFC and Mel need to learn when to shut up. I've been involved in senior (and latterly) junior football for many years and the FA are definitely not helping - pointless fines, needless rules, beaurocracy that people who want to support grass roots football find frustrates their efforts. But... the manager and players play under the same rules I played under and many before me and since. The ref is not going to change his mind - so button it. We will now suffer from suspensions this season due to bookings (many) for dissent. 22 games is a joke but doesn't take away from the fact that CTFC play good football, no denying it and Mel deserves the credit, as do the players - but until they learn to keep their mouths shut it counts for nowt. A really good team, playing nice football who need to learn some discipline (not that the Premiership would encourage this of course but then that is a $£#ing pantomime)....
