Bishop Sutton 1 - 2 Corsham Town
Another poor refereeing performance cost Sutton a point in this match when he played 8 minutes of injury time in which Corsham scored their winning goal. Sutton went a goal down after 25 minutes with the Sutton defence caught napping. Corsham had the better of the match through most of the first half with Luke Andrews, Adam Tyers and keeper Chris Blammon standing out for Sutton, things got worse for Sutton when Tavis Carter was sent off for his second booking which put Sutton on the back foot, Simon Bone should leveled the score when he had a one on one with the Town keeper, but they held on to finish the half 1-0 down.
Sutton came out in the second half and really had a go at Corsham, Luke Andrews ran 40 yards and made the Town keeper pull off a great save, minutes later, Rob Dumphy ran through and lobbed the keeper only for the ball to go wide of the post, Sutton continued to push Town and in the 88th minute, Rob Dumphy equalised for Sutton with a well taken and deserved goal, Corsham were awarded a dubious penalty but keeper Blammon made a world class save to keep the scores level, Sutton then only had to play out the last few minutes but the referee decided to let the game go on just in time for Corsham to score before blowing his whistle in the 98th minute.
