Googled linx and came up with all sorts of old tosh then realised you probably meant Lynx....
You are correct when you say it is quick but it is very limited to what it can lift/carry. It has room for 8 guys and kit in the cabin where as the Puma can carry 16. If memory serves me well the Lynx can undersling the odd box of walkers cheese and onion where as the Puma SACRU can carry 2.5 tonnes.
Both pale into insignificance when compared to the mighty wokka however no amount of convincing will ever make me believe that 2 inter meshing hydraulic palm tree's are safe!!
As regards selection I am too old and too wise for that sort of thing.
