Ex-Res Gaffer, after watching the CPSC Final on saturday ,there seems to be a shortage of genuine talent in The Wiltshire Premier League,it appears to me that most players of a decent standard by-pass reserve team football to play at one of the Western League sides in the`area. This also is the case with youth players, most under 18's go straight into Western leauge or Southern League sides when they become to old.
I would look at the youth policy of the Club first, then the next step would be the Reserves, on the down side, the reserves will finish second from bottom this season a far cry from past season's triumphs. On a positive note, without the Reserves from last season, the First team would have sruggled.
Hope to see you all at Presentation Night, will The Leg and Stats Jnr be there?
