Zamaretto League Division One South & West club Bridgwater Town are giving away fifty scarves - after a Midlands' based printer spelt its name wrong!
The scrarves arrived at the ground with an 'e' in the middle of Bridgwater.
Club chairman Alan Hurford said: "Unfortunately, it's not an unusual mistake.
"There is a Bridgewater in Massachusetts and we could have sent them over to them."
Twenty of the scarves have been given to a local care home while ten more have been given to charity.
The company who scored the `own goal` has not charged the club for any of the scarves.
