On another non-league site I asked how many clubs had applied for the FA Cup and theefore how many need to be rejected to make the numbers right.
Most rejections are based on final league positions at Step 6 (some at Step 5 maybe on grounds)
833 Clubs have applied
Likely that 758 will be accepted
So likely that 75 clubs will be refused entry.
In the Vase clubs are generally acepted provided they are in the pyramid and floodlit.
