Fleet Town FC have been reprieved from relegation following the removal of Darlington FC from the top tiers. Andover FC and Croydon Athletic FC withdrew from the National League System either prior to the commencement of last season or before the completion of last season and have been classed as relegated clubs from Step 4. In addition, Durham City FC and Woodley Sports FC were classed as relegated clubs from Step 4 and will be placed at Step 5. This resulted in the two bottom clubs in the NPL Division One North, Cammell Laird and Harrogate Railway Athletic FCs being reprieved. It should be noted that 2 clubs were relegated to Step 5 from this division. There remains, however, issues with a couple of clubs to resolve which may yet impact on the number of clubs ultimately relegated. Club allocations at Steps 1 to 4 together with the allocation of clubs relegated from Step 4 will be agreed by the Leagues Committee next week.
