We still have a large amount of maintenance work to be done and ground improvements to be made. If there is anyone who can help please contact a Committee member or attend the ground on a Saturday morning when there is always a working party there.
Maintenance work to be carried out is as follows.
Weedkilling, strimming, grass cutting, sweeping up, pressure washing, hedge trimming, painting, repairing and cleaning pitch perimeter signs, etc, etc.
Improvements to be made are as follows.
Erection of scaffolding poles and netting behind the Lacock Road end goal to prevent the ball going into the road. We have the poles and netting but need the labour to dig holes and erect poles etc.
Erection of protective steelwork and mesh in front of tea hut hatch.Again have all materials but need labour.
Construction of covered area on side of clubhouse to provide additional covered standing and double as a covered smoking area.
Construction of new gate hut by canabalising existing smoking hut.
Refurbishment of Bar and Dance/Skittles room.
Free drinks will always be available. Thanks, hope to see you soon.
