Whilst it appears that Planning Permission will be granted in due course, it is not yet in place and the League also has concerns that the recent Football Foundation response will adversely delay matters further. Whilst we would welcome your inclusion, with the pressing need to agree our constitution for season 2012/13 unfortunately we have to advise you that we now feel unable to proceed further with Wincanton Town FC's application to the Toolstation Western League at this time. We would suggest that you continue to get everything in place in anticipation of another application for season 2013/14 when you would be very welcome applicants, should you achieve a promotion position. With PP in place and indications of FF support (subject to promotion being obtained) we would then be in a position to consider your application favourably. In the meantime we would suggest that you continue to address those aspects of the grading report they you are able to fund in anticipation of another successful playing season. The application and grading fees paid will cover future applications for the next two playing seasons so there will be no further cost for future visits. We regret that the Officers have had to come to this decision and feel that we have given the club every opportunity to meet the grading requirements and I know that you fully will understand the reasoning behind this final decision. Many thanks indeed for your interest in joining the League and we wish you well for the forthcoming season.
