I went to the Montefiore Hospital Dental Department. That was after I had a terrible time with a "discount" dental office. I have a number of problems, including a history of periodontal disease and cardio vascular disease. They were highly recommended for complicated cases and they are terrific. There is a dental school connected, but I had the head of the oral surgery department plus a resident do my implants. It went without a problem, I had eight placed in one day, including extractions, a sinus lift and a bone graft. I just was swollen and a little achey for a few days and then I was fine.
