Marie hi there, First I would like to say.. take it easy and try to relax! I just made one year in dentures I am 38. for me I had 30 teeth out at once and was put to sleep for it (it was the only way I would do this) I honest to goodness had no pain once the 12 hour medication wore off my face. I was fine until I had to take out dentures the very next day for my dentist that was little painful.. but the only pain I had there on out was taken them out to be cleaned on day 3 it hurt so took my pain pills before had so would not hurt as much.. but all and all I did awesome with recovery. most people have a week off. at first they feel bulcky of course its this huge plastic feeling in your mouth.. I have gotten used to them just like everyone said I would. it took me a few months to really forget there in there.. they are part of me now..and I am very happy with mine. I have some bumps in the road but with my POSSITIVE thinking I made it work for me. I am much healthier now and feel and look better. good luck with getting pregnant also. But as for the dentures.. people will respond to you on what they have been through.
