FOR HOPE: Re: Anyone happy with their implants?
Posted by cs on 5/16/2008, 9:30 am, in reply to "Re: Anyone happy with their implants?"
Hi, Hope . ..
My implant is on a front tooth, too. After a difficult root canal on that tooth when I was a kid . . . 20 years of relative "bliss" . . . fracture of that tooth . . . and 25 years of constant concern about the post and crown needed to protect its remnant and resulting gum disease . . . I had to have the tooth removed when it finally failed.
Extraction and placement of the implant was totally painless and took just a matter of moments. Getting it was the best decision I've ever made with respect to my teeth. My only regret is that implants were not available in North America when my tooth fractured . . . but if necessary, I would get another in a heartbeat.
