I had my front teeth bonded to fill in a rather large gap. I had it done in 1992. It's 2008...and the bonding is still there. I am, however, considering veneers, because there's a little bit of chipping in the bonding on one tooth. It did discolor. If you're going to invest in cosmetic dentistry, you might consider the veneers instead.
