Looking for info on choosing a Cosmetic Dentist?
temp crown and veneers
Posted by julie on 4/5/2009, 7:18 pm
I recently had work done on my four upper front teeth..a crown replaced and 3 veneers...they turned out fantastic and I'm thrilled with them but I have a question about how the temps were handled..just want to know if this is normally how it's done. I thought there would be an individual temp placed on each tooth after it was prepped. Instead my dentist took a mold of my teeth before they were prepped and put a one piece "thing" over all four of them. I thought it looked awful, felt bulky and was a little too white. I almost cried when I saw it (I had to go back to work)...is this the normal way it would be done or did my dentist take a lazy way out?
