I'd suggest listening to him - he knows better than any of us. But ... He DOES want to cut down four other teeth to support the long-span bridge and replace your missing molars. As you may be aware, I usually encourage people to go with implants instead. In your case, two implants might cost less than a 6-unit bridge being proposed and will NOT involve four otherwise healthy teeth. Time for a consult with someone who does implants.
