In my opinion, some dentists are better with fitting bridges than others. The key is finding a dentist with bridge expertise. That said, to me, 8 units is a really long bridge & would probably need very good support. Your other options are implants-- if you have the time & finances, or maybe a partial--less expensive than implants. I would seek another dental opinion or two before making a final decision.
