you will be living with these crowns for a long time...the dentist, you won't have to "live with" too much longer if you chose to go with another dentist when this work is done. I would postpone the appt (if at all possible) for a sunny day, a day where a friend or relative (who will be very honest with you) could go along and I would do every thing in my power to make sure once those are permanently cemented I was absolutely thrilled with them. The dentist doesn't have to live with your smile nor bite, you do. Make sure it is what YOU want and what looks best for you. If the dentist isn't pleased with having to work with you, he isn't much of a dentist. I would get what I want and if need be, when this is all said and done, I would find a new dentist.
