Hi Slynn, I am sorry to hear you are discouraged. I am not an expert but have done some research in this area. If you type into Google "Dentures" or search for dentures in Wikipedia many say it is best to keep real teeth as long as possible. Dentures do still cause issues and over time can cause bone loss among other things. It's important to find a dentist that has the proper experience and you feel comfortable with, who can educate you on all the pro's and con's associated with your dental health. It's also important to have a good tooth brush and technique, I use a battery operated tooth brush from Oral B and it gets SO much more off my teeth than just regular brushing and flossing.
