I looked at the sheets that the implanted doctor who quoted me..there was no mention of the cost of the abutment....so I called the dentest who refered me and asked who will be responsible for the abutment , him or the implant doctor> he vaguely said that he does not know , depend on if the implanted doctor needed or not? ..I got pisssed inside of me hearing that...and he said i will takce care of you . So I callled the clerk of the implant doctor..and ask..she is absent and the file is not in the office....so i asked the clerk who ansere the phone ..she saif that usually the doctor will put the abutment in later on.... after the implant... I understand from reading that ath the second stage ..after the implant was done 3-6 months later he will cut a small incision or so to connnect the abutment....what I do not know is how come he never mention that in the paper... I do not want to be sent back to the doctor who quoted me 1800 for the crown and have him put in the atbutment..because i am sure he will charge me for it.. chris i can always cancel the operation ,,i have 6 days to do so
