Multiple Implants in future?
Posted by Patty on 6/29/2009, 7:05 pm
Hi all. I get my two left back molars implants tomorrow a.m.! Finally. The graft looks good and the O.S. says it is good to go. I will then have to wait a bit for my crowns.
I do have a question. I have been thinking. I have bad teeth and almost all my upper and bottom teeth except for the four in front on top and bottom have crowns. Some have been redone. What happened to the two molars was that there was no longer any tooth left to support a crown, hence the implants. What if one by one, I have to get implants on all those other crowned teeth? It will cost a fortune! Is that what they typically do as they all start to become irreparable? I know people have the four up and four down implants for the dentures. But I can't imagine having 20 or more implants done. Any ideas about this? I would be broke!![]()
